Reflection Assignment on Blog:

While using Gimp, what was the most frustrating aspect of the program and/or project? (Ex. Gimp Tools, translating sketch to design, creating transitional layers, etc.)

The most frustrating aspect of the program was to draw curves exactly where you want them. It was very difficult to draw anything that wasn’t a rectangle or a circle perfectly. It was also really hard to keep going back and forth between several tools.  Overall, it took some time to figure out exactly how Gimp works. It was very difficult at first, but now it is a little easier.

After completing the project, which Gimp tools do you feel most confident in using? Explain why.

I fill most confident using the rectangle and circle select, bucket fill, and the pen and brush tool because I used these tools a lot for my GIF.

Which Gimp Tool do you wish you were better at using?   Explain why.

The path selection tool. I still don’t really know how to use it and the curves never really end up exactly where I want them to be.

What would you like to create with Gimp next?
*If you do not like Gimp then asnwer the following: What kind of projects/artwork will Gimp be most useful?  Explain why.

Maybe a GIF with photos and we can edit the photos with Gimp. Kind of like what Anthony did in his homework GIF. That was pretty cool.
