Design Competition Reflection 

         The ideas behind my images are the colors black and red and the phoenix for Millennium. I first started out with the image on the left. I put all the parts/information that I wanted on the image and played around with the placement and the shade of the red background. Then I decided to make another draft – the one on the right. I spend a long time working with the color, placement, and size of the text so that it would work with the photo as the background. But when I finally finished the second image, I ended up deciding that I like the first one better because I thought the second image was too much for a planner. I liked the simpler image because I think it has all the necessary components and although it isn't very complex, I think it is better a fit for a planner cover. So that’s why I ended up picking the first image as my final design.
